Youth Need the Masjid, and the Masjid Needs Youth!

The SRVIC Youth Club has been created to provide boys and girls a safe platform to bond with each other and benefit from the mentoring and the coaching that they deserve. It is also a way to give a new meaning to the role of the masjid in our community, a safe environment where our youth can play and have fun, thrive as individuals, learn about their Deen, feel loved, appreciated and cared for and become the leaders of tomorrow.
Learning the pillars of Islam is essential! Building the right character and being proud of our identity is the key to apply that teaching in real life! We want our Youth Club to be a place for our youth to take a break, learn about God and themselves as well as to connect and be an integral part of our community.

It is We who relate to you, [O Muhammad], their story in truth. Indeed, they were youths who believed in their Lord, and We increased them in guidance.
We gave strength to their hearts. Behold, they stood up and said: “Our Lord is the Lord of the heavens and of the earth: never shall we call upon any god other than Him[Quran, al Kahf 18:13-14]

Quran, al Kahf

“There are two things which people do not recognize the greatness of until they lose them: their youth and good health.”
Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (رضي الله عنه)
